A New Life In Christ

We live in a day and age when mankind states “there are no  absolutes”. Though this is a statement from men, we find one absolute, the certainty of death. This is why we offer to you the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Jesus stated I am come that they might have life (John 10:10). The reason for the 1st coming of Jesus Christ was to give eternal life. We need this life. This life is eternal with a hope beyond the grave.

Our sinfulness is the cause for the need of eternal life in Jesus Christ. The Bible states Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (Romans 5:12).   Our sinful nature can be traced back to the Garden of Eden in the Creation account.  This nature of sin will result in death, but that is just the “first death”. The Bible teaches that there is a “second death”. Let us examine this verse found in Revelation, the last book in the Bible.  But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.  (Revelation 21:8)

We find a list of sins that result in the second death, but notice the last, “all liars”. Many would agree that murders and the like are deserving of death, but most do not realize that in the eye’s of God, even the “little sins” are worthy of the same death as the “big sins”.

God stated in His WordFor whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.” (James 2:10). Our sin nature has mankind under the condemnation of death. Now do you see why Jesus came to give life? It is because we are deserving of death! Just as there is a “second death”, there is also a “second birth”.

This “second birth” is the only cure for the “second death”. It is given by Jesus Christ alone. When Jesus Christ, God the Son, came to this world, He was born of a virgin. This miraculous birth gave Jesus a sinless nature. He continued through life without sin. When He died on the Cross, it was for our sinfulness For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.  (2 Corinthians 5:21)

Please understand that Jesus went to the Cross willingly, but it does not stop with death. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. (John 10:18).  Jesus rose on the 3rd day, proving He has Power over death, and can give life.

Will you, by faith, receive this gift of God, by tuning from your deadly sinful ways, and ask Jesus to give you eternal life? If so, I urge you to call upon the Name of the Lord, trusting Him, and Him alone to save you.  It is Jesus Christ alone that can save you, and if you would like to ask Him to save you, then we can help you ask Him,

Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner deserving eternal death, but I am turning to You for Eternal life, please save me! Amen.
